On this trip to Las Vegas I was able to visit and tour three different spas. First the Green Valley Ranch Hotel and Casino is located in Henderson, NV - just a few miles from the Las Vegas Strip. This lush and luxurious property is located in a busy dining and entertainment district, but it has all of the tranquility and pampering you'd want. I was impressed with the beautiful hotel lobby and it had a huge casino and many dining options. The pool and spa area was green and lush and full of many outdoor lounging areas. It even has it's adults only (read: topless) bathing area called The Pond. The pool has a small beach with the sand edging it's way into the first third of the pool. The Spa was an enourmous glass building showcased off the pool. The spa had a very busy pool deck that was coed. The rest of the spa was downstairs and I was able to tour the area which was very lovely. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and I do hope to go back soon and enjoy a service there.
The next spa I toured was the Red Rock Hotel and Casino in Summerlin. Again this hotel is only a few minutes drive from the Las Vegas strip and I can imagine in might be a good choice for clients who've been there, done that, and are looking for a new experience. The Red Rock was swanky and zen-like. Everywhere I went I found myself enjoying the lighting, the floor, the doors - everything fit perfectly. The Red Rock hosted so many dining options I would have to stay there at least 3 or 4 days to enjoy it all. We also liked that the casino had bowling alley, movie theater and many other entertainment options. I had to wander around the hotel for some time before I found the spa - it was tucked away in a small corridor. It had a bright red glass door and I was warmly welcomed once inside. I toured the private pool deck and fitness room and was also given a tour of the spa area including the steam room, whirlpool, and relaxation area.
Finally since I was staying at Caesar's I got to enjoy a few hours one morning in the Qua Spa. I've already described the Roman Baths, the Arctic Ice Room, Steam room and more so I won't go into huge detail, but I do still believe this is one of the best spa experiences to be had in the Vegas area. The spa is huge, the staff is warm and welcoming, and even without getting a service, it offers so many ways to relax and be pampered.
